About smsweb

We have three Executive Directors:

Salah ElBaba, a British national with more than 10 years of experience in the educational field, is our Managing Director. He is the inspiration and driving force behind smsweb, and was instrumental in successfully piloting the free SMS service into selected schools in the Western Cape.

Tim Cruise is our Marketing Director. He was previously a co-owner of 3C Marketing and has vast sales and marketing experience between him. He has a successful track record in direct/relationship marketing, having produced successful marketing campaigns for blue-chip companies such as Woolworths, Old Mutual Bank, and various titles in the Media24 stable, as well as a host of other companies.

André Roux, our Technical Director, has over 15 years' experience in the field of electronic engineering and IT management. He is an accomplished project manager with many successful IT implementation & development projects under his belt for a host of leading blue-chip companies such as Old Mutual, Sanlam, Naspers, Metropolitan, De Beers, Denel and Vodacom.
